About The Position

Leadpoint is hiring entry-level General Laborers / Sorters to sort recyclables at a large recycling and processing plant in Stanley, New York. The work supports community cleanliness. No diploma, resume, or prior experience is needed. Candidates are evaluated on their ability to follow directions and the results of a realistic job preview, as well as selection criteria intended to support a positive and efficient workforce aligned with Leadpoint’s culture. This is a full-time position paying $18.00 per hour, with growth potential and promotion from within. The role is safety-sensitive; impairment at work presents a substantial risk of injury, and the company tests for THC.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Be able to stand for the entire shift.
• Consent to a background check.
• Consent to a drug screen, including THC testing for this safety-sensitive position.
• Have reliable transportation to work.
• Be reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-oriented.
• Be able to follow directions.
