About The Position

The Sorter - Processing team member helps turn donated goods into merchandise ready for retail sale or shipment. This active, fast-paced role includes sorting, inspecting, and grading clothing and other merchandise; pricing and preparing items; and cleaning, organizing, and packaging donations. Team members safely move merchandise throughout the processing area, operate processing equipment such as balers after receiving proper training, and meet daily production and quality goals. The role involves repetitive tasks, working with hands, and collaborating with teammates to keep merchandise moving efficiently. It also supports the company's charity partners and efforts to keep reusable goods out of landfills.

Responsibilities

Sort, inspect, and grade donated clothing and other merchandise based on quality and condition.
Price and prepare merchandise for retail sales floors.
Clean, organize, and package donated items for display or shipment.
Safely load, unload, and move carts and merchandise throughout the processing area.
Operate processing equipment, including balers, after receiving proper training.
Meet daily production and quality goals while maintaining accuracy.
