About The Position
The Sorter - Processing sorts, inspects, and grades donated clothing and other merchandise based on quality and condition. The role prices and prepares goods for retail sales floors, cleans, organizes, and packages donated items for display or shipment, and safely moves carts and merchandise throughout the processing area. After receiving proper training, team members operate processing equipment, including balers. They meet daily production and quality goals, maintain an accurate and clean, safe, organized workspace, and work with teammates to keep merchandise moving efficiently. The position helps convert donated goods into items for customers while supporting charity partners and keeping reusable goods out of landfills.
