About The Position
The Store Donations Attendant receives donations from donors, tracks and weighs collected donations, and shares information about the organization’s charity partners and mission with donors and customers. The role helps keep the donations area neat and presentable and supports the team in caring for donated items so they can be offered to customers. Work includes loading and unloading trailers and donation boxes safely and efficiently, and may involve heat, cold, and wet weather conditions. The donations team works together to serve donors and the community.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Provide outstanding customer service to donors.
- Be organized and able to keep the donations area neat and presentable.
- Be willing to work in changing weather, including heat, cold, and wet conditions.
- Be committed to working safely and efficiently.
- Be a team player who is ready to work with a diverse group of co-workers.
