Solutions Egineer

iHeartMediaVirtual, NY, NY
$88,000 - $110,000Remote

About The Position

AudioGraph is iHeartMedia’s programmatic broadcast radio platform—the first scaled solution enabling agencies and advertisers to plan, buy, and measure broadcast radio inventory through the same programmatic workflows they use for digital audio, display, and video. AudioGraph connects iHeart’s 860+ stations and 150+ markets to the programmatic ecosystem via DSP integrations, audience-based targeting, and automated measurement. AudioGraph is scaling its technical go-to-market operation. As demand grows across agency holding companies and mid-market buyers, the team needs a Solutions Engineer who can own day-to-day deal support, execute campaign configurations with precision, and ensure every client interaction reinforces AudioGraph’s reputation as the easiest way to buy broadcast radio programmatically. This role exists to increase the team’s capacity to support more deals, faster—without sacrificing quality.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in solutions engineering, technical account management, or advanced ad operations within programmatic advertising.
  • Familiarity with the programmatic supply chain: bid mechanics, deal structures (PMP/PG/preferred deals), header bidding, and SSP-DSP integration patterns.
  • Working knowledge of major DSPs (Amazon, TTD, DV360, Viant, Basis, or equivalent) from a technical integration or partner support perspective.
  • Hands-on experience with ad serving platforms (Triton, GAM, FreeWheel, or equivalent), including deal setup, inventory packaging, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with audience data concepts: identity graphs, data onboarding, clean rooms, and how audience segments flow through the programmatic pipe.
  • Exposure to measurement and attribution methodologies (pixel-based, exposure file, foot traffic, brand lift) and at least one vendor in the space.
  • Ability to operate independently on defined workstreams and escalate effectively when complexity exceeds scope.
  • Strong communication—comfortable presenting to agency teams and equally comfortable working through a technical issue with an engineer.

Nice To Haves

  • Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return
  • Experience with various technical disciplines and applications
  • Close attention to detail, following up until issues are resolved
  • Ability to multitask on a variety of critical projects
  • Ability to work independently, while also collaborating with others
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate moderately complex technical information within the team
  • Skills to recognize and solve frequently occurring problems
  • Analytical thinking
  • Resourcefulness and independent judgement

Responsibilities

  • Support pre-sale engagements by preparing technical materials, proposing deal parameters to meet client objectives, and building audience strategies aligned to agency buying workflows and KPIs.
  • Own and maintain reusable pitch assets—technical one-pagers, demo environments, objection-handling docs, and ROI calculators—so sellers can move deals forward efficiently.
  • Execute the standardized deal configuration process: audience strategy, market selection, measurement approach, and pricing structure—customizing templates for each opportunity.
  • Participate in pitch meetings and RFP responses alongside senior team members; own specific technical sections of the narrative.
  • Conduct recurring technical enablement sessions for sellers—workshops, deal clinics, and ad-hoc coaching on how to position AudioGraph capabilities.
  • Ensure seamless handoffs between sales, ops, and client services—no client should feel like they’re starting over with a new team at any stage.
  • Maintain and improve internal documentation—playbooks, configuration guides, and troubleshooting resources—so the team operates from a shared, current knowledge base.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap by documenting field-level technical feedback and packaging it into clear, prioritized requirements.
  • Participate in sprint reviews, beta testing, and partner integration testing for new platform capabilities.
  • Own specific workstreams such as demo environment management, measurement vendor onboarding, or DSP integration support.
