As a Solutions Engineer you will be working closely with the sales team as the key technical advisor representing Explorance’s offerings.

Requirements

• Our software’s expertise – You will be acting as the technical expert in most interactions.
• People skills – this is a customer-facing position requiring presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability & willingness to travel often
• Availability to support multiple time zones
• Impeccable verbal and written English communication skills (French or Spanish in an asset)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Service-oriented personality
• Ability to quickly adapt to technology and industry changes
• Educational background: IS, IT, Software/Computer Engineering or other technical degree.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Web based applications

• French or Spanish in an asset

Responsibilities

• Representing Explorance as an expert in our software suites
• Providing remote and on-site product demonstrations to potential customers
• Recommending products and services to potential Explorance customers based on technical knowledge and customer needs
• Writing and reviewing RFP responses and other technical documents
• Managing the relationship with potential customers at a technical level
• Assisting salespeople with strategy
• Designing, managing, and maintaining demo & sandbox environments
• Attending and presenting at tradeshows and conferences
