About The Position

This role involves acting as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support. The Solutions Architect III will analyze application portfolios, identify dependencies and common infrastructure platform components, and assess migration feasibility. They will architect hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions, guide customers on architecture choices, and advise on best practices for efficient and cost-effective AWS adoption. The position ensures success in building, migrating, and deploying applications, software, and services on the AWS platform. Responsibilities include briefing senior executive teams on customer progress with AWS adoption, defining future platform requirements for onboarding and migration to AWS, authoring AWS customer-facing publications like whitepapers, and sharing best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community. The role also involves engaging with developers, system administrators, software architects, project managers, directors, and C-level customers to define cloud strategies and deployments, and educating customers on the value proposition of AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment on AWS.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or related occupations of Network Administrator, Support Engineer, Systems Engineer or another related occupation.
• Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience.
• Five years of experience in designing, implementing, and consulting with distributed applications.
• Five years of experience in architecting, provisioning, and deploying applications to public cloud environments or on-premises virtualized environments.
• Five years of domain-specific experience with web performance, media distribution, media processing, and application protection.
• Five years of experience in performance tuning, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
• Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.

Responsibilities

• Author AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
• Share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community.
• Engage with developers, system administrators, software architects, project manager, directors, and C-level customers to define cloud strategies and deployments.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and ensure that solutions are designed for successful deployment on AWS.
