About The Position

This role involves acting as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support. The Solutions Architect III will analyze application portfolios, identify dependencies and common infrastructure platform components, and assess migration feasibility. They will architect hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions, guide customers on architecture choices, and advise on best practices for efficient and cost-effective AWS adoption. The position ensures success in building, migrating, and deploying applications, software, and services on the AWS platform. Responsibilities include briefing senior executive teams on customer progress with AWS adoption, defining future platform requirements for onboarding and migration to AWS, and authoring AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers. The role also involves sharing best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community and engaging with developers, system administrators, software architects, project managers, directors, and C-level customers to define cloud strategies and deployments. The Solutions Architect III will educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment on AWS.

Requirements

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or related occupations of Database Administrator, Support Engineer, Systems Engineer or another related occupation.
• OR Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• One year of experience in designing, implementing, and consulting with distributed applications.
• One year of experience in architecting, provisioning, and deploying applications to public cloud environments or on-premises virtualized environments using C++, Perl, Python, or Java.
• One year of experience with database architecture, performance tuning, and either Big Data or Hadoop.

Responsibilities
