About The Position

This role serves as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support. The Solutions Architect III will analyze application portfolios, identify dependencies and common infrastructure platform components, and assess migration feasibility. The position involves architecting hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions, guiding customers on architecture choices, and informing them of best practices for efficient and cost-effective AWS adoption. The role ensures success in building, migrating, and deploying applications, software, and services on the AWS platform. Responsibilities include briefing senior executive teams on customer progress in adopting AWS, defining future platform requirements for onboarding and migration to AWS, and authoring AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers. The Solutions Architect III will also share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community and engage with a variety of stakeholders, including developers, system administrators, software architects, project managers, directors, and C-level customers, to define cloud strategies and deployments. A key aspect of the role is educating customers on the value proposition of AWS and ensuring that solutions are designed for successful deployment on AWS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupations of Network Administrator, Support Engineer, Systems Engineer or another related occupation.
  • Five years of experience in designing, implementing, and consulting with distributed applications.
  • Five years of experience in architecting, provisioning, and deploying applications to public cloud environments or on-premises virtualized environments.
  • Five years of domain-specific experience with web performance, media distribution, media processing, and application protection.
  • Five years of experience in performance tuning, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
