Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Five (5) years of experience with wireless technologies.
  • Five (5) years of utility domain experience.
  • Five (5) years of relational database experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience designing and implementing advanced security solutions for customer deployments aligning industry standards for security.
  • Domestic travel to unanticipated client sites up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the architecture, security, design, and testing of the integrations and interoperability of software programs, vendor applications, and third-party solutions.
  • Design complex application solutions with analysts, designers, and system owners of vendor application systems within public and private cloud infrastructure.
  • Work with client requirements and assess how Landis+Gyr's solutions fit these requirements.
  • Consult with customers to scope, design, document, implement, and deliver end-to-end solutions using Landis+Gyr’s products and resolve technical issues that arise in solutions designs.
  • Architect new solutions and deliver new services to benefit Landis+Gyr’s Gridstream Solution.
  • Support the integration testing phase of software and applications under development to identify and remedy potential problem areas.
  • Build relationships with vendors of utility applications deployed in the Smart Grid Energy Services sector to learn about and provide feedback on technical integration capabilities.
  • Ensure best practices and technical due diligence with components used as part of Landis+Gyr’s products, solutions, and services.
