About The Position

The Solutions Engineering Lead is the primary customer-facing architect, responsible for translating the warfighter's complex mission needs into feasible, end-to-end technical solutions on the War Data Platform. This person will work directly with mission owners and the "Solution Consultant" team during the intake process to understand requirements, design solution blueprints, and ensure the proposed approach effectively leverages the WDP's existing services and capabilities. They will design the high-level integration patterns, data flows, and service compositions required to solve a specific mission problem, providing the detailed architectural guidance necessary for development teams to begin implementation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Engineering
• Knowledge of Cloud, DevSecOps, Software Engineering
• Experience solutioning with Data & AI
• 3 years of experience in implementing Big Bang, Iron Bank, and/or Kubernetes/Docker
• 3 years of experience in implementing DevSecOps pipelines in AWS or Azure
• Expert knowledge designing end-to-end technical solutions for enterprise customers
• Bachelor’s degree (or 4 additional years of equivalent experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Working directly with mission owners and the "Solution Consultant" team during the intake process to understand requirements.
