About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Solutions Architect to work closely with customers to design and implement straightforward technical solutions that meet their needs. The role offers opportunities to learn and grow while collaborating with experienced Solutions Architects and internal teams. The position is suited to someone passionate about technology, eager to learn, and interested in making a meaningful impact on customers' businesses.

The Solutions Architect works with customers to understand their technical challenges and requirements, then contributes to solution design and delivery. Depending on project complexity, the role may involve designing components of larger solutions or owning end-to-end solutions for less complex projects. The architect collaborates with senior Solutions Architects and sales, engineering, support, delivery, and operations teams; communicates technical concepts clearly; evaluates technology platforms, tools, and frameworks; troubleshoots issues; and keeps current with industry trends and architectural best practices. Training and mentorship support ongoing development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with at least one industry-standard programming or scripting language, such as Python, JavaScript, C#, PowerShell, or Java.
• General knowledge in at least one technology domain area, such as software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
• Demonstrated understanding of architectural and design principles.
• Familiarity with common architectural patterns and design principles.
• Ability to create proofs of concept, demos, or scripts.
• Ability to distill customer technical needs into clear, concise requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Experience in a specific industry vertical, such as energy, oil and gas, finance, healthcare, or retail.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand technical challenges and requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Design and deliver components of larger solutions or own end-to-end solutions for less complex projects, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with best practices.
• Apply knowledge of systems and architecture design fundamentals to make informed decisions and create robust solutions.
• Partner with senior Solutions Architects and internal sales, engineering, and support teams to drive customer success and contribute to project delivery.
• Participate in training programs and seek guidance from mentors to enhance technical skills and knowledge of products and services.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts verbally and in writing to technical audiences to ensure understanding and alignment.
• Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation of architectural designs.
• Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, tools, and frameworks that optimize performance, scalability, and security.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating complex problems as needed and seeking guidance from senior team members.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and architectural best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
