About The Position

Anaplan is seeking a Solution Architect focused on its Sales Performance Management platform to deliver planning solutions for strategic accounts. The role involves translating business challenges, spreadsheets, and existing solutions into sophisticated Anaplan multidimensional models, and contributing to connected planning architecture, integrations, migrations, testing, and deployment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with business partners and teams, provide timely updates, document models, and exemplify The Anaplan Way.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or MIS.
• At least 4 years of experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management solutions for Supply Chain, FP&A, workforce planning, or Sales Performance use cases.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology, including requirements gathering, design, build/test, and deployment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Track record of leading and implementing responsibilities simultaneously.
• Service-excellence orientation and collaborative style.
• Strong understanding of inbound and outbound data integration.
• Passion for business analytics, modeling, and planning.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Results-oriented, motivated self-starter.

Nice To Haves

• Agile methodology experience is preferable.
• Subject matter expertise in planning and modeling in Finance, Workforce Planning, or Sales is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multidimensional models.
• Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality.
• Serve as the architectural subject matter expert for large-scale connected planning solutions.
• Exemplify The Anaplan Way.
• Provide timely feedback and progress updates to the Business Partner and team.
• Develop model documentation.
• Participate in data integration and migration solutions.
• Participate in or lead user acceptance testing and deployment.
