About The Position

Anaplan is seeking a Solution Architect focused on its Sales Performance Management (SPM) platform to deliver planning solutions for strategic accounts. The role involves interpreting complex business challenges and translating existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multidimensional models. The Solution Architect also modifies models within connected solutions, serves as an architectural subject matter expert for large-scale connected planning, and participates in integration, migration, testing, and deployment activities.

The role is part of Anaplan Professional Services, which supports customers in achieving success with the company’s planning platform. The position emphasizes service excellence, collaboration, analytical problem-solving, and working across industries while developing professionally.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or MIS.
• At least 4 years of experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management solutions for Supply Chain, FP&A, WFP, or Sales Performance use cases.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology, including requirements gathering, design, build/test, and deployment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lead and implement responsibilities simultaneously.
• Service-oriented approach and collaborative style.
• Strong understanding of inbound and outbound data integration.
• Passion for business analytics, modeling, and planning.

Nice To Haves

• Agile methodology experience is preferable.
• Subject matter expertise in planning and modeling in Finance, Workforce Planning, or Sales is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multidimensional models.
• Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality.
• Serve as the architectural subject matter expert for large-scale connected planning solutions.
• Exemplify The Anaplan Way.
• Provide timely feedback and progress updates to the Business Partner and team.
• Develop model documentation.
• Participate in data integration and migration solutions.
• Participate in and/or lead user acceptance testing and deployment.
