Under moderate supervision, the Solution Analyst I contributes to documenting, planning, and implementing solutions to business problems as part of small project teams. The role addresses moderately complex issues by coordinating team efforts, defining solutions independently or with senior process and technical resources, and collaborating with project teams to develop workplans. Responsibilities include documenting solutions in clear written and visual formats, communicating task status to stakeholders, breaking down complex problems into simpler solutions, and training, coaching, and advising end users on solution use. The position has some latitude to set objectives, priorities, and timelines that may affect departments or work groups, collaborates with managers and functional site leaders, and interacts with external colleagues. The analyst works with custom, packaged, business intelligence, and operations platform project teams to define project solutions, effort, and timelines, and ensures system analysis designs and process maps are documented and communicated. The role analyzes business and systems needs, develops functional and technical requirements, aligns solutions with MIS strategy, works with stakeholders to establish business-centric requirements, and evaluates available or custom system solutions. The analyst also collaborates with internal and external teams on process improvements, works with process owners, considers tactical and strategic plans supporting operations, and provides project-specific input to the overall strategic roadmap. Other duties may be assigned as requested. The position is hybrid. The company’s global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona, and hybrid employees collaborate virtually and attend in-person meetings at the Phoenix Collaboration Hub or a site location. In-person attendance may vary according to position and department requirements.
