Product Solution Analyst

Goosehead Insurance•Westlake, OH

About The Position

The Product Solution Analyst translates product strategy, business needs, and client or user problems into clearly defined solutions that software development teams can design, build, test, and deliver. Working with Product Managers, business stakeholders, UX/Design, Engineering, QA, and other technology partners, the role bridges business objectives and technology execution. It performs responsibilities commonly associated with an Agile Product Owner, including requirements analysis, solution definition, backlog refinement, user story development, acceptance criteria, development-team clarification, and validation of delivered functionality. The analyst partners with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand workflows, processes, pain points, rules, and requirements; identify gaps and dependencies; define functional solutions; and document current- and future-state processes as appropriate. The role turns roadmap initiatives and business needs into development-ready artifacts, maintains and refines the backlog according to Product Manager priorities, and supports development teams through Agile ceremonies and implementation. The role also elicits and documents requirements, assesses upstream and downstream impacts, collaborates with Engineering and other functions throughout the SDLC, supports QA and user acceptance testing, and helps prepare releases through readiness, documentation, training, and implementation activities. It facilitates communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders and looks for ways to improve requirements quality, backlog readiness, refinement, and team collaboration.
