About The Position

The Solar Operations Program Manager improves and standardizes processes across the entire Solar P&L. The role works to ensure operational consistency, reduce errors, enhance the customer experience, and drive continuous improvement across Inside Sales, branch operations, fulfillment, and credit workflows. The manager owns operational excellence initiatives and creates the operating procedures, controls, and governance processes needed to support consistent customer and employee experiences across solar operations. The role collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to identify risks and process gaps, monitor business performance and quality, and implement sustainable improvements. It also leads planning and execution for strategic initiatives, new programs, and business process changes, ensuring organizational alignment.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in operations, process improvement, program management, project management, or business process development.
Ability to identify root causes, solve complex operational problems, and implement sustainable solutions.
Experience creating and managing SOPs, workflow documentation, and operational standards.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct management authority.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Experience working with sales, fulfillment, credit, finance, and customer service organizations.
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university, or 3–5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Solar industry experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with Epicor Eclipse ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the Solar P&L to drive efficiency, consistency, scalability, and profitability.
Establish and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs), controls, and governance processes across solar operations.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify operational risks, resolve process gaps, and implement sustainable solutions across customer management, order fulfillment, branch operations, and credit workflows.
Monitor operational quality and business performance, using data, root-cause analysis, and stakeholder feedback to drive corrective actions and ongoing improvements.
Lead operational planning, readiness, and execution for strategic initiatives, new programs, and business process changes while ensuring organizational alignment.
