About The Position

Complete Solar is seeking an experienced and motivated Solar Crew Lead to oversee and coordinate residential solar energy system installations. The role leads a crew of 2–4 installers, promotes safe work practices, maintains installation quality, and helps ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. The Solar Crew Lead may also explain the work and system to customers, coordinate with fleet management, keep job sites clean and presentable, and support the crew in resolving concerns. Work is primarily at customers’ homes in the local area, with occasional travel. Periodic weekend or evening work may be required depending on workload. The position is listed as full-time, with a 40–45-hour shift and compensation of $60,000–$80,000 per year plus paid training.

Requirements

At least 1 year of residential or commercial solar installation experience.
Familiarity with PV systems, varied installation locations, and troubleshooting.
Prior site construction experience and familiarity with construction-site safety practices.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel.
Comfort working at heights in varying weather and roof conditions.
Compliance with OSHA standards.

Experience as a lead.
Experience working with AC wiring.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a crew of 2–4 installers daily.
Maintain awareness of safety risks and implement appropriate ORM procedures.
Ensure efficient system installations while providing excellent customer service.
Explain the work and system to be installed to customers.
Coordinate with fleet management as needed.
Keep job sites clean and presentable during and after installation.
Motivate and support the installation crew and resolve concerns as needed.
