About The Position

The Software Functional Consultant will help organisations optimise warehouse operations through implementation of The Config Team’s SAP software products. Working with experienced consultants and solution architects, the role applies SAP WM knowledge to deliver solutions that improve warehouse efficiency, enhance user experience and support operational excellence. Projects are typically delivered within 3–4 months and are largely remote, giving the consultant the opportunity to work across multiple customers, industries and warehouse environments. The role is UK-based and remote, with permanent employment. Salary is described as an excellent basic salary depending on experience.

Requirements

Hands-on SAP WM experience.
Understanding of warehouse and logistics business processes.
Experience participating in SAP implementation, rollout or enhancement projects.
Confidence engaging with business users and operational stakeholders.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
A collaborative approach and desire to continue developing an SAP consulting career.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with Fiori.
Experience with mobility solutions.
Experience in consultancy environments.

Responsibilities

Support customer workshops to understand warehouse and supply chain requirements.
Assist with solution design and functional specifications.
Configure and implement The Config Team’s SAP-related software solutions, including PreBilt.
Support testing, defect resolution and user acceptance testing.
Deliver end-user training and support user adoption.
Assist with cutover, go-live and hypercare activities.
Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement and product innovation initiatives.
