About The Position

ZipStaff is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead Functional Consultant to lead Finance and Controlling solution delivery within SAP ECC environments and support future S/4HANA transformation initiatives for a global technology services firm. The role calls for hands-on configuration expertise, manufacturing finance process knowledge, and close collaboration with finance, accounting, treasury, and controlling teams. The position is hybrid/on-site in Reno, Nevada, and is a W2 contract through ZipStaff; C2C and 1099 arrangements are not accepted. The consultant will lead SAP FICO design, configuration, testing, and deployment; translate business requirements into SAP solutions; configure and support core accounting and controlling functions; and drive integration with other SAP modules. The role also supports month-end and year-end close processes and ECC-to-S/4HANA assessments and migration planning.

Requirements

12–15 years of SAP FICO experience.
Strong SAP ECC implementation and support experience.
Expertise in Financial Accounting and Controlling processes.
Hands-on configuration experience across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, PCA, and Product Costing.
Strong understanding of manufacturing finance processes.
Ability to work hybrid/on-site in Reno, Nevada.

Nice To Haves

S/4HANA Finance experience.
SAP FICO certification.
Experience with product costing and profitability analysis in manufacturing environments.
Background supporting ECC-to-S/4HANA assessments and migration planning.

Responsibilities

Lead SAP FICO design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
