About The Position

T-Mobile’s T-Ads Software Engineering Internship is an 11-week paid learning experience in which interns contribute to real engineering work, build relationships with interns and leaders, and receive mentorship. Interns join T-Ads, T-Mobile’s Ad Tech team, a collaborative, low-ego group of engineers based mostly in Philadelphia, with teammates in NYC, Amsterdam, Texas, and other remote locations. The intern will work on the platform behind Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising, which plans, buys, delivers, and measures campaigns on billboards, Times Square displays, and bus-stop screens. The platform includes an always-on, real-time bidding system. The intern will own a project from start to finish, building a new capability or improving an existing one. Project areas may include the real-time bidstream, backend services, dynamic creative, or web tools used by teams and customers. Interns will work with engineering, Product, Design, and QA, contribute production code, receive and give code review feedback, and may launch their project. They will demo their work to the broader engineering organization at the end of the internship.
