About The Position

PVM offers a Software Engineering Fellowship for transitioning service members participating in the Department of War (DoW) SkillBridge program. The fellowship lasts up to 180 days, in accordance with DoW SkillBridge guidelines, and provides hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and opportunities to apply or develop technical skills in a mission-driven environment. Fellows work alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and analysts. They follow a structured training path and may contribute to internal tools, prototypes, or client challenges, depending on their experience and interests. Areas of exposure include data engineering and analysis, cloud-native applications and DevSecOps, low-code/no-code platforms such as Palantir Foundry, and Agile collaboration and modern development workflows. PVM is a purpose-driven technology company serving government and commercial partners across health, defense, justice, and other sectors. It designs, develops, and deploys digital services to help government agencies use data and technology to address mission-critical problems. The role is available remotely or in a hybrid arrangement, depending on location.

Requirements

Be an active-duty service member eligible for the DoW SkillBridge program.
Have an interest in software engineering, data, or technology careers.
Be motivated to learn, solve problems, and build high-impact solutions.
Be a team player with strong communication and time-management skills.
Have some experience with programming, software development, or data tools.

Responsibilities

Learn and contribute alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and analysts.
Participate in a structured training path.
Depending on experience and interests, work on internal tools, prototypes, or real-world client challenges.
Gain exposure to data engineering and analysis, cloud-native applications and DevSecOps, Palantir Foundry and other low-code/no-code platforms, and Agile development workflows.
