About The Position

Investure is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Technology team and build and support internal software tools used primarily in investment, accounting, reporting, and data analysis workflows. The role involves developing user-focused solutions for business process automation and AI-driven enhancements, collaborating with senior engineering leadership and colleagues across the firm, and delivering scalable solutions tailored to the firm’s needs. The engineer will work directly with investment, accounting, and operations users to understand their workflows, translate needs into requirements, validate delivered tools, and iterate based on user feedback. The position also includes maintaining and improving applications, data pipelines, integrations, and reporting processes. The successful candidate will use sound engineering judgment, including when using AI-assisted coding tools, and contribute to design discussions, reviews, testing, documentation, and ongoing system support. Responsibilities and title will be commensurate with experience and demonstrated faculties and judgment. Investure is an outsourced investment office serving nonprofit endowments and private foundations. The firm manages approximately $22 billion in assets as of January 2026 and describes its culture as fast-paced, collaborative, mission-driven, and focused on continuous improvement, excellence, integrity, and employee engagement. This is a full-time, in-office position with a remote option on Fridays, based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Investure will not sponsor H-1B or other employment-related visas for this position.
