About The Position
GN Hearing is seeking a Software Engineer to join its development team in Glenview, Illinois. The role focuses on designing and implementing user-friendly desktop software for the healthcare industry in response to market, product manager, and product owner needs. The selected candidate will be expected to learn and apply new technologies and contribute to high-quality software development.
Requirements
- Prior experience developing software.
- Demonstrated ability to create robust software designs and system architectures.
- Proficiency in code review and debugging.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Experience with Blazor, Razor, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with WPF and MVVM.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps.
- Clear and effective written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with others to meet agreed goals and manage individual tasks in a team environment.
- Proficiency or experience with SAFe/Agile.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- At least 3 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
- High proficiency in software development and effective problem-solving.
- Knowledge and experience with web architecture.
Responsibilities
- Understand audiology business needs.
- Design, create, and maintain high-quality software.
- Create and manage tools that improve productivity.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the development life cycle.
- Perform validation and unit tests.
- Create and update documentation.
