About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring experienced caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one home care for seniors. Caregivers support clients with daily living so they can remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The position offers flexible scheduling based on caregiver availability, with open shifts during days, evenings, overnights, and weekends. Caregivers provide companionship and assistance with personal care, mobility, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, errands, and transportation to appointments. The role requires at least one year of senior care or caregiving experience, a valid driver's license, access to a reliable owned or leased vehicle, and current auto insurance. Candidates must be at least 21 and able to pass state and nationwide background checks, fingerprinting, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Provide companion care and support with daily routines.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
Help clients with mobility, walking, transfers, and other physical assistance as needed.
Provide medication reminders.
Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Assist with grocery shopping and personal errands.
Drive clients to and from appointments when needed.
Help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
