About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring experienced caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one home care for seniors in Glenview, Illinois. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes by providing companionship and assistance with daily living. Shifts may be days, evenings, overnights, or weekends, with flexible scheduling based on caregiver availability. The role includes attendance- and performance-based pay increase opportunities, overtime and holiday pay, client mileage reimbursement, direct deposit, referral bonuses, and 24-hour leadership support.

Requirements

At least one year of senior care or caregiving experience.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable owned or leased vehicle.
Proof of current auto insurance.
Ability to pass state and nationwide background checks.
Ability to complete fingerprinting and drug screening.
Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and passionate about making a difference for seniors and their families.

Responsibilities

Provide companion care and support with daily routines.
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
Help clients with mobility, walking, transfers, and physical assistance as needed.
Provide medication reminders.
Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Assist with grocery shopping and personal errands.
Drive clients to and from appointments when needed.
Help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
