About The Position

As part of Apple’s Silicon Technologies group, the SoC Level Validation Engineer helps design and manufacture high-performance, power-efficient processors and systems-on-chip. The team develops and runs a bare-metal, system-level software suite that exercises Apple Silicon, primarily post-silicon, while also leveraging pre-silicon validation to uncover corner-case hardware bugs. The role has a critical impact on delivering high-quality functional products to customers, and the company is hiring at levels ranging from junior to senior. The engineer develops directed and random tests for SoCs and CPUs, debugs pre-silicon and post-silicon issues, develops and maintains a system-level software platform, and works with designers and architects to achieve validation goals.
