Software Engineer (Python)

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team at Garner. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing how people find top doctors in their area and ensure prompt reimbursement of medical claims. Working closely with a talented product and design team, you will contribute to a fast-paced and innovative environment. The ideal candidate should have experience delivering full-stack software, expertise in Python, and familiarity with Flask, SQLAlchemy, Docker, and a major cloud provider. • Design, build, and launch new features for the Garner app
• Improve the overall quality of the Garner app
• Collaborate with other disciplines to understand user needs and iterate on new ideas
• Ensure user privacy and security through secure coding practices
• Support the Garner app in production
• Deliver full-stack software with 2-4 years of hands-on experience
• Expertise in Python
• Familiarity with Flask, SQLAlchemy, Docker, and a major cloud provider
• Experience with database systems, especially PostgreSQL or ElasticSearch
• Work in a team using agile methodologies
• Fluency with the agile toolkit
