Software Engineer, Infrastructure Modelling
About The Position
Fluidstack is hiring a Software Engineer, Infrastructure Modelling to build software that makes infrastructure design data programmable. The role involves developing services, APIs, and pipelines; creating generative tooling for layouts, routings, and configurations; integrating CAD and BIM platforms, PLM, and the company’s data layer; and managing versioning, validation, and queryability of design-model data at gigawatt scale. The position is intended for someone who builds software for engineering design workflows and works closely with engineers as users. Requirements
- Experience building software against CAD or BIM platforms or engineering data.
- Experience shipping automation that replaces manual design work.
- Competence handling geometric and graph-shaped data.
- Ability to write production code and integrate vendor APIs.
- Experience working closely with engineers as users.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Revit, Tekla, or Forge APIs.
- Experience with IFC toolchains.
- Knowledge of computational geometry.
- Experience with Rust, C#, TypeScript, or Python.
