About The Position

Wipro Limited is a technology services and consulting company that builds solutions for clients’ digital transformation needs. The Software Infrastructure Engineer will support the silicon organization by developing automation frameworks, tools, and APIs for silicon development, validation, and system integration. The role includes hands-on integration and troubleshooting of distributed software infrastructure, integrating third-party hardware vendor libraries with in-house solutions, and building data logging and health monitoring systems. The position requires software and test automation experience, including experience related to silicon or firmware validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of software and test automation experience, including at least 1 year related to silicon or firmware validation.
• Experience in software design and proficiency in C/C++ and Python, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency with software testing methodologies.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Mandatory skill: Semiconductor Integration.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with integration and testing for a complex system.
• Experience building or working with real-time embedded systems.
• Knowledge of ASIC design flow and ASIC prototyping flow.
• Experience with FPGA and hardware evaluation boards, EDA design tools, and/or ISA simulators.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation frameworks to support prototyping, system provisioning, silicon/software validation, and system integration.
• Create tools to streamline software deployment, test execution, and data analysis for continuous integration and release systems.
• Develop and distribute library APIs to orchestrate silicon development platforms, automate stimuli input, and capture datastream output from silicon evaluation boards and FPGA/Emulation platforms.
• Perform hands-on integration and troubleshooting of distributed software infrastructure.
• Develop data loggers for existing dashboards and automate health monitoring systems.
• Integrate libraries from third-party hardware vendors with in-house solutions.
