About The Position

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level software engineer to assist with daily responsibilities. The company’s engineering team develops and continually improves solutions in support of the mission to protect the country. This position is open to direct hires only; candidates from third-party staffing or recruiting firms will not be considered.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens and currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.

Requirements

• Currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Be a U.S. citizen.
• Seven years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university; four years of software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with Java.
• Knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, or similar tools.
• Requirements gathering, documentation, and workflow skills.
• Product- and results-driven approach and problem-solving ability.

• Experience with MapReduce.
• Experience with JUnit testing and code coverage.
• Experience with Python and streaming capabilities.
