About The Position

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level software engineer to assist with back-end development and some UI work. The team develops and innovates software solutions in support of the mission to protect the country. This position is open to direct hires only; candidates from third-party staffing or recruiting firms will not be considered.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens and currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph. The role requires seven years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, and a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline. Four years of software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for the degree.

Requirements

• Currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Seven years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four years of software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes as a substitute.
• Required skills: MongoDB, Scala, Java, and AWS.
