About The Position

The Summer Games is a competitive, collaborative internship program that simulates a real-world startup accelerator. Interns work in teams on challenge projects aimed at solving customers’ complex problems and developing breakthrough ideas or solutions. During the program, interns receive mentorship from senior leaders, use Booz Allen products and engagement models, and build technical skills through collaboration. The program culminates in a Challenge Cup competition and presentation to senior leadership. Past projects have included technology and business plans to help blind individuals navigate, apps for tracking developing situations, efforts to combat human trafficking, and tools to monitor disease spread.

Requirements

Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash.
Experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms in academic or internship environments.
Experience conducting research and writing software.
Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
