About The Position
The Summer Games is a competitive, collaborative internship program that places interns on teams to develop a breakthrough idea or solution to a complex customer problem. The program simulates a startup accelerator environment and provides opportunities to build technical skills, receive mentorship from senior leaders, use Booz Allen products and engagement models, and collaborate with teammates. The summer concludes with a Challenge Cup competition and presentations to senior leadership. Past projects have included technology to help blind individuals navigate and apps for tracking real-time and open-source information about developing situations.
Requirements
- Experience with one or more programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash.
- Experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms in academic or internship environments.
- Ability to conduct research and write software.
- Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Scheduled to obtain a bachelor's degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
