University - 2027 Summer Games Data Scientist Intern - Lexington, MA
About The Position
The Summer Games is a competitive, collaborative internship program designed to develop a breakthrough idea or solution to a customer’s complex problem while helping students build valuable technical skills. Interns work in teams on distinct challenge projects in a startup-accelerator-style environment, receive mentorship from senior leaders, and use Booz Allen products and engagement models. The program culminates in a Challenge Cup competition and presentation to senior leadership. The Data Scientist Intern will work on a team challenge involving data and analytical problem-solving. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a technology, engineering, or mathematics field and scheduled to obtain it by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029. Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Requirements
- Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining.
- Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis.
- Knowledge of structured and unstructured data sources.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree in a technology, engineering, or mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
