About The Position

The Summer Games is a competitive, collaborative internship program designed to develop students’ technical skills while they work on breakthrough ideas or solutions to complex customer problems. Interns work in teams on challenge projects in a startup accelerator-style environment, receive mentorship from senior leaders, and use Booz Allen products and engagement models. The program culminates in a Challenge Cup competition and presentation to senior leadership. Projects in prior years have included technology and business solutions for helping blind individuals navigate and applications for tracking developing situations, such as sudden attacks, human trafficking, and disease spread.

Requirements

• Experience with at least one programming language, such as .NET, C++, JavaScript, Java, or Python, in a professional, academic, or internship work environment.
• Knowledge of software development best practices.
• Ability to learn new programming languages and frameworks.
• Ability to work in groups.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree in a technology, engineering, or mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
