About The Position

The Software Analyst will be responsible for documenting business rules for the re-engineering of a current paper process into a .Net solution. This role involves designing test plans, conducting code testing, and interacting with both users and the development team. The analyst will also work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely project completion in alignment with the Project Plan. This is a 24-month contract position with a hybrid work model (50% telecommuting, 50% office) in Albany, New York.

Requirements

• 84 months experience writing technical/business specification .Net applications.
• 72 months experience in writing test plans & cases and performing unit & regression testing.
• 84 months experience facilitating meetings with users to identify & gather business needs, business rules & security requirements.
• 24 months experience re-engineering paper-based processes into web based .Net solutions.
• Bachelor's Degree
• 48 months experience SQL coding for writing SQL data queries for extraction and/or validation of application data.

Responsibilities

• Documenting business rules for the re-engineering of the current paper process to a .Net solution.
• Designing the test plan and conducting testing of the code.
• Interact with both users and the members of the development team.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that the work is done in a timely way consistent with the Project Plan.
