About The Position

This is an entry-level position supporting Softgel Operations under close supervision. The role includes cleaning equipment, loading and unloading Softgel capsules onto trays, and operating the Softgel drying tunnel and sorting machine. The operator follows departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), product specifications, and established cleanliness and hygiene standards.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. The hourly base salary ranges from $18.00 to $23.50. Compensation depends on relevant factors such as qualifications, geographic location, and skills. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; high school curriculum is preferred.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.
• Adherence to SOPs and current cGMP.

Responsibilities

• Spread Softgel capsules evenly onto trays to support optimal drying.
• Maintain supplies of tray paper and empty trays at the rear of the dryer to support continuous operations.
• Clean and maintain processing equipment, tools, and production areas according to SOPs.
• Keep clean rooms and process areas organized, tidy, and compliant with cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Notify machine operators about poor-quality Softgel capsules or malfunctioning machine components.
• Assist machine operators by checking medicine or gelatin temperature as needed.
• Keep lubricant buckets filled and available for machine operation.
• Load and unload Softgel capsules onto trays for drying.
• Replace towels in drying baskets as needed and arrange and stack trays properly in drying tunnels.
• Inspect Softgel capsules for physical defects, including irregular shapes and leaks.
• Operate the Softgel sorting machine according to product specifications in the batch record.
• Abide by Amneal's current rules and regulations.
• Work extended hours when required.
• Perform other functions as assigned.
