About The Position
As a Soft Count Clerk, you will work in the Money Room counting casino gaming monies. You will report to the Soft Count Supervisors and Manager. The position pays $16.00 per hour and is full-time. The stated shift is 4:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Saturday; the schedule may vary due to business needs. Weekly Earned Wage Access is available as an option.
Requirements
- 10-key proficiency by touch.
- Tolerance for repetitive work.
- Ability to apply basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Experience handling large volumes of cash.
Responsibilities
- Handle large volumes of cash and chips.
- Count, sort, bundle, and record cash.
- Clean work areas as designated by management.
- Count and balance all monies.
- Identify counterfeit bills.
- Individually wrap all denominations of money after the initial count.
- Compare all totals of monies.
- Use computers to enter, access, or retrieve data.
- Maintain Money Room security according to rules.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
