Soft Count Clerk Drop
About The Position
The Soft Count Clerk works within the Money Room to count casino gaming monies and reports to the Soft Count Supervisors and Manager. The role handles large volumes of cash and chips, counts and balances monies, and records and compares totals. The clerk also identifies counterfeit bills, wraps denominations after the initial count, uses computers to enter, access, or retrieve data, and maintains Money Room security according to applicable rules. The position includes cleaning designated work areas and performing other assigned tasks. Pay is $16.00 per hour. The full-time schedule is 4:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, and may vary due to business needs. Weekly Earned Wage Access is available as an option.
Requirements
- 10-key proficiency by touch.
- Tolerance for repetitive work.
- Ability to apply basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Experience handling large volumes of cash.
Responsibilities
