About The Position

We Are Rosie is seeking Social Video Storytellers for a project within a major consumer goods company. Each storyteller will work directly with one or two household brands to turn employee-generated footage from a two-day content event into ready-to-post social videos. The brand teams own the voice and ideas; the storyteller brings the editing and social storytelling expertise. For each assigned brand, create five vertical videos for Instagram, TikTok, and Meta. Each finished asset should be 15 to 90 seconds and use platform-native graphics, text, emojis, music, and effects to create an authentic, employee-made feel. Review raw footage, select the strongest moments, and build stories that hook viewers quickly and keep them watching. Custom design and motion graphics are not needed. Participate in a short pre-production briefing with the brand team before the content event. Work with the team to revise rough cuts based on feedback and deliver final assets by end of day Friday, November 20. The project is remote and US-based, with the Eastern time zone preferred. The expected workload is 20 to 40 hours during the week of November 16, plus a one-hour pre-production briefing the week of November 9. Compensation is $260 per finished asset and $65 for the pre-production briefing.

Requirements

  • Portfolio of short-form social, user-generated content (UGC), or creator content.
  • Strong social storytelling skills, including the ability to establish a hook and tell a story quickly.
  • Comfort editing in CapCut or natively in Instagram and TikTok.
  • Comfort building a story from real, sometimes messy footage rather than a locked script.
  • Speed and organization to deliver polished assets within one week.
  • Full availability during the week of November 16 to November 20, plus time for a pre-production briefing during the week of November 9.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating content for brands that connect with moms as a key consumer.
  • Experience with Premiere or similar editing tools; these are a plus, not required.
  • Eastern time zone availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Attend a short pre-production briefing with assigned brand teams.
  • Review raw employee-generated footage and select clips for each asset.
  • Create five vertical, 15-to-90-second social videos per assigned brand for Instagram, TikTok, and Meta.
  • Build engaging stories that establish a hook quickly and maintain viewer interest.
  • Use platform-native graphics, text, emojis, music, and effects while maintaining an authentic, employee-made look.
  • Work directly with brand teams and revise rough cuts based on their feedback.
  • Deliver final assets by end of day Friday, November 20.
