About The Position

We Are Rosie is casting Social Video Storytellers for a project within a large consumer goods company with brands across beauty, grooming, health care, baby care, and home care. Storytellers will partner directly with one or two brand teams to turn employee-generated footage from a two-day content event into ready-to-post social videos. Brand teams own the voice and ideas; the storyteller brings the editing, pacing, and social storytelling. For each brand, create five vertical videos for Instagram, TikTok, and Meta. Each finished asset should run 15 to 90 seconds and feel native to its platform, using platform graphics, text, emojis, music, and effects. Review raw footage, select clips, and shape a story that hooks viewers quickly and keeps them watching. Custom design and motion graphics are not needed. Join a short pre-production briefing with the assigned brand teams before the content event. Work with the teams to revise rough cuts quickly based on feedback and deliver final assets by end of day Friday, November 20. The project includes pre-production during the week of November 9 and editing during November 16–20. Work is remote and US-based; Eastern time zone is preferred. Anticipated workload is 20–40 hours during the editing week, plus a one-hour pre-production briefing. Compensation is $260 per finished asset and $65 for the pre-production briefing.

Requirements

  • Have a portfolio of short-form social, user-generated content, or creator content; experience with brands that connect with moms as a key consumer is preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong social storytelling skills, including the ability to establish a hook and tell a story quickly.
  • Be comfortable editing in CapCut or natively in Instagram and TikTok.
  • Be comfortable building a story from real, sometimes messy footage rather than a locked script.
  • Be organized and fast enough to deliver polished assets in one week.
  • Have full availability during November 16–20 and time for pre-production during the week of November 9.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating content for brands that connect with moms as a key consumer.
  • Experience with Premiere or similar editing tools; these are a plus but not required.
  • Availability in the Eastern time zone is preferred.

  • Review raw employee-generated footage, select clips, and shape them into engaging stories with a fast hook.
  • Use native platform graphics, music, text, emojis, and effects to maintain an authentic, employee-made feel.
  • Attend a short pre-production briefing with the assigned brand teams before footage is captured.
  • Work directly with brand teams and make rapid revisions based on their feedback.
  • Deliver final assets by end of day Friday, November 20.
