About The Position

The Social Skills Assistant (SSA) is the first point of contact for families at KEBM, responsible for setting up the environment, running open play sessions, and building initial rapport with clients. This role is designed as the first step in a comprehensive 14-step clinical career path within the company, emphasizing that entry-level positions are valued and offer significant growth potential. KEBM is an ABA therapy company with multiple clinics, founded by a BCBA, utilizing a proprietary S.O.C.I.A.L. P.O.D.S. methodology that integrates social skills, behavior intervention, and individualized goals within a structured group dynamic. The company serves a diverse client base, including insurance-funded, private pay, open play, and camp participants, with a commitment to maintaining high clinical quality across all services. The S.O.C.I.A.L. P.O.D.S. model involves small client pods (3-6 clients) grouped by age and skill level, with a 1:3 facilitator-to-client ratio, and on-site supervision from Program Supervisors, BCaBAs, or BCBAs. This pod structure ensures that staff are never working alone and receive real-time coaching and support. KEBM prides itself on its inclusive approach, ensuring every client receives the same quality of care regardless of their funding source or service type.
