About The Position

CALRegional is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Pharmacy Technician Skills Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for medical professionals looking to earn extra income while making a significant impact on aspiring healthcare professionals. The Pharmacy Technician Programs run for 3-12 weeks, with a schedule of Tuesdays-Thursdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. No teaching experience is required. The company is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce.

Requirements

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician.
• Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
• Efficient with computers and technology.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Must understand all Pharmacy related medical math concepts and be able to teach them to class.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in the Pharmacy field.
• Teaching and/or supervisory experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assists students with the skills associated with the scope of practice for their designated subject.
• Assist lead instructor to evaluate, report and record student performance and progress.
• Assist lead instructor with all required skill labs, grading class assignments, and exams.
• Prepares students to go on to an externship.
• Assists students to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
• Provides a professional role model for students.
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
