About The Position

Responsible for social work programming and quality on the Acute Care Unit. Works closely with Director of Nursing in providing therapeutic programming for Acute Care Clients. Oversees social work programming to assure that the most productive treatments are offered. Provides and oversees diagnostic assessments. Makes recommendations about patient’s treatment needs based on screening and diagnostic assessment. Oversees social work programming to assure that the most productive treatments are offered. Employs a variety of treatment modalities including individual, group, and family therapy. Psychotherapeutic techniques and modalities are appropriately matched for clinical needs.

Requirements

Must be licensed in the State of Ohio
Master’s Degree in social services/social work/counseling
3-5 Years’ experience in mental or behavioral health, preferably inpatient/acute care
Licensed as a Social Worker, Counselor or Marriage Family Therapist (LSW/LPC/MFT) in the State of Ohio
NVCI
CPR(BLS)/First Aid
Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years, or for working with children)
5-panel drug screen upon conditional offer of employment
Residential candidates require a 2-step TB up offer of employment

Nice To Haves

LISW/LPCC/IMFT Preferred with supervision designation
