At the Carmen B. Pingree Autism Center of Learning, Social Service Workers support children with autism and their families through compassionate, relationship-centered care focused on safety, growth, and long-term success. This role combines therapeutic support, skill-building, behavior management, and collaboration to help children build coping, communication, social, and daily living skills in a structured and supportive environment. Social Service Workers work closely with interdisciplinary teams and families to ensure consistent care and meaningful progress for every child. The Social Service Worker provides therapeutic behavior management, case management, and other services as defined by licensure to ensure excellence in client care, fiscal management, and regulatory compliance.
