The mission of the Blue Square Alliance Against Hate (BSA) is to win the hearts and minds of non-Jews and Jews through powerful positive messaging and partnerships, motivating and equipping them to be defenders of and upstanders for Jews. BSA focuses on spreading the Blue Square and associated programs to spur action by people of all backgrounds. Working with a network of partners, BSA leverages unique monitoring technology to drive effective rapid response to Jewish hate and all hate, in addition to proactive programs that galvanize popular support for the Jewish community. The Social Media Specialist will support and execute BSA’s social media content strategy across key digital platforms. This role will take a more active role in content development, platform management, campaign execution, and performance reporting, while collaborating closely with internal creative teams and external partners. The Specialist will help drive audience engagement through platform-native storytelling, trend-informed content creation, and day-to-day management of BSA’s social channels. The ideal candidate has experience working with brand social channels, strong creative instincts, knowledge of emerging social trends, and the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
