Hays Electrical Services is seeking a highly driven and strategic Social Media Sourcer whose primary responsibility is to generate qualified electrician leads through social media platforms. This role is fully focused on proactive headhunting, employer brand visibility, and measurable recruiting pipeline growth. The ideal candidate maintains an active and professional social media presence, understands platform algorithms, and knows how to maximize visibility, engagement, and conversion. This individual will focus heavily on promoting hiring events, company marketing flyers, and open roles to attract skilled electricians.

Requirements

  • Active and established personal or professional social media presence.
  • Demonstrated understanding of social media algorithms and visibility optimization strategies.
  • Experience in recruiting, sourcing, digital marketing, or lead generation preferred.
  • Proven ability to convert online engagement into measurable leads.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with direct outreach and proactive engagement.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a performance-based environment.
  • Basic understanding of the electrical or construction industry preferred.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and generate qualified electrician leads using Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and relevant skilled-trade communities.
  • Join and actively engage in electrician and construction trade groups to increase company visibility.
  • Post hiring events, job openings, and company marketing flyers daily to attract candidates.
  • Share and promote company-branded recruitment materials to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Monitor competitor job postings and strategically engage individuals who comment or express interest.
  • Conduct direct outreach via comments, private messages, and group interactions.
  • Visit job sites as needed to capture recruiting-focused content.
  • Leverage knowledge of platform algorithms (posting timing, hashtags, engagement tactics, video trends) to maximize organic visibility.
  • Track engagement metrics, leads generated, and conversions to scheduled testers.
  • Collaborate closely with the recruiting team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.
  • Represent the recruiting team in a professional and brand-aligned manner across all digital platforms.
