About The Position

RAWSO Constructors is hiring a hands-on Social Media & Marketing Manager based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This role has no direct reports and reports to the Director of IT & Communications. The manager owns social media content from concept through publication, creating stories about employees, company events, construction projects, and heavy equipment. The position combines office work with regular visits to active construction sites throughout Middle Tennessee. The role manages content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, publishing three to five days per week. It also supports business development and search visibility through written and website content, employee communications, company events, and branded materials. Work is primarily during normal business hours, with occasional weekend events and time-sensitive social media activity outside regular hours; schedule adjustments for weekend events are coordinated with the supervisor. Candidates should bring social media content experience, including personally filmed and edited videos, along with strong visual storytelling, writing, communication, and organizational skills. A college degree and construction experience are not required. The successful candidate must be able to obtain an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate within 90 days of employment and before independently conducting company drone flights; RAWSO covers training and exam costs. Employment is subject to required pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug test.

Requirements

Experience creating and managing social media content, including videos personally filmed and edited.
Strong photography, videography, editing, and storytelling skills.
Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
Creativity, initiative, and the ability to manage projects independently.
Willingness to travel to jobsites throughout Middle Tennessee.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to obtain an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate within 90 days of employment and before independently conducting company drone flights; RAWSO covers training and exam costs.
Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug test.

No college degree or construction experience is required.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of relevant experience.
Graphic design skills.
Drone experience or certification; prior drone experience or certification is not required to apply.

A strong portfolio and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Create, film, edit, and publish videos, photos, and social media content.
Manage Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, publishing content three to five days per week and adapting it across platforms.
Monitor comments, messages, tags, and mentions; respond appropriately and direct sensitive matters to the appropriate person.
Visit active construction sites to capture project progress, employee stories, and equipment in action.
Capture drone photography and videography to document construction projects.
Write engaging captions and collaborate with project teams on case studies, blog posts, and website content supporting business development and search visibility.
Produce the monthly employee newsletter and support company events and employee recognition initiatives.
Coordinate branded apparel, promotional merchandise, and marketing materials.
Track social media performance and identify creative ways to improve engagement.
