About The Position

Cascade Designs is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to oversee the digital presence and community-building efforts for our family of five (yes, five!) outdoor brands across multiple markets. Reporting to the Senior Brand Marketing Manager you’ll develop and execute content strategies across our major social platforms and act as one of the faces of our award-winning outdoor brands creating live content and connecting directly with our fans. The Social Media Manager will own the end-to-end strategy, content planning, and execution for our family of brands across social platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal teams to create consistent, high-impact social storytelling that aligns with each brand’s identity and business goals. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role requiring strong organization, a keen sense for trends, and the ability to adapt tone and content strategy for our brands and our distinct audiences.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media management (outdoor and multiple brand experiencepreferred)
  • Degree in Marketing Communications or related field
  • Demonstrates a genuine passion for the outdoors and a keenness to learn about the latest trends and and gear
  • Proven success managing multiple accounts across diverse platforms
  • Deep knowledge and awareness of social media trends and tricks
  • Strong understanding ofsocial planning andanalytics tools
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills
  • Experience working collaboratively with design and product teams
  • Ability to adapt tone and strategy across diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to juggle multiple brand calendars
  • Comfortable being the on-camera face of a brand, both online and in live settings
  • Willingness to travel for events and activations

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage social media strategies for our outdoor brands, tailored to each brand’s audience and objectives
  • Develop and manage content strategies across social platforms
  • Collaborate with Creative team to ensure alignment with global ambassador strategy
  • Maintain content calendars, aligning with product launches, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives
  • Monitor competitor activity and social trends to identify opportunities for innovation and engagement
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing team to produce engaging, on-brand content.
  • Write, edit, and post regular content across multiple platforms
  • Work with our Customer Operations team to manage community engagement, responding to comments, messages, and brand mentions promptly and professionally
  • Create engaging social content, including editing and on-camera work
  • Share influencer-generated content across our brand
  • Track and report onkeysocial performance metrics
  • Use analytics tooptimizestrategies, content, and posting schedules
  • Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders on social insights and brand performance
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, production,salesand customer operations teams to build compelling content and ensure alignmenton our social messaging
  • Partner with agencies or freelancers as needed for content creation and campaign execution
  • Act as the internal champion for social media best practices and brand voice consistency
